A discontinued Louis Vuitton favourite and one of the best larger everyday bags in Damier Ebene.

The Trevi GM combines Louis Vuitton's classic Damier Ebene coated canvas with rich chocolate brown leather, gold-tone hardware and a beautiful deep red Alcantara-lined interior. Its softly pleated body gives it a distinctive shape while providing a surprising amount of interior space.

This is the larger GM size, making it an incredible work, travel or everyday bag. It is roomy enough to accommodate a 13" MacBook, along with your daily essentials, while still looking polished when carried.

The Trevi can be carried by its structured rolled leather top handles or with the original removable and adjustable Louis Vuitton shoulder strap. The original strap is designed for shoulder carry rather than a true crossbody fit. A longer compatible strap can easily be added if you prefer to wear it crossbody.

The Trevi has since been discontinued, making beautifully preserved examples increasingly desirable on the resale market.

CONDITION

Excellent pre-owned condition.

The Damier Ebene coated canvas is beautifully preserved with strong colour and structure.The chocolate brown leather handles, trim and original shoulder strap present extremely well with only light signs of previous use.

The gold-tone hardware remains bright with minor surface wear consistent with normal handling.The red interior is remarkably clean and well preserved.

There is minor misshaping to one side of the bag, visible in the photographs. This is cosmetic and does not affect the bag's structure, capacity or functionality.

Overall, this is an exceptionally well-kept example of a discontinued Trevi GM.

WHY I LOVE IT

This is one of those Louis Vuitton bags that makes you wonder why they ever discontinued it.

The Trevi GM is big, beautiful and incredibly functional. It fits a 13" MacBook, has a secure zip top and gives you both top-handle and shoulder-carry options.

I especially love the pleated Damier Ebene body. It gives the bag so much character without feeling overly trendy, and the deep red interior is such a beautiful contrast against the brown canvas.

On me (5'4), you can really see the scale of the GM. It is a substantial bag, but it still feels polished and intentional rather than oversized. And because the original strap is removable, you have the option of adding a longer strap if you want to turn it into a more comfortable crossbody.
