Luxury
Summer School.
Seven classes. Two semesters. One summer spent looking a little closer at vintage luxury, the stories behind it, and the business built around it.
The classes
live on.
Luxury Summer School began as something special for the LOVED Club. On the weeks between bag drops, we stepped away from shopping for a moment and talked about why vintage feels different, what more than 1,000 bags have taught me, how professional buyers think, and what really happens behind the scenes of luxury resale.
What started as a summer email series became one of my favourite ways to connect with this community. The classroom may be closed for the season, but every lesson is here for you to revisit, save, and share.
The Heart of Vintage Luxury
We started with the pieces themselves. Why they feel different, why we become attached to them, and what separates a bag we simply own from one we remember.
Why Vintage Luxury Feels Different
The class that started it all. A look at craftsmanship, character, history, and why something that has already lived a life can feel completely different the moment you hold it.
Read Class OneWhat 1,000+ Bags Have Taught Me About Why We Buy Luxury
After thousands of bags and hundreds of conversations, one lesson stands above the rest. The purchases we remember are often connected to milestones, memories, and the people we were becoming.
Read Class TwoThe Story Behind the Bag
Why certain designs survive decade after decade. We looked at iconic silhouettes, their origins, and the details that allow great design to outlast the trends around it.
Read Class ThreeShopping Like an Expert
A practical class about slowing down, reading a listing properly, understanding condition, comparing value, and learning when the smartest purchase is the one you choose not to make.
Read Class FourBehind the Business
Semester Two moved behind the pretty pictures. We talked about sourcing, patience, online resale, trust, social media, and what six years in this business have taught me.
How Professional Vintage Buyers Think
Great sourcing is rarely luck. It is patience, preparation, research, discipline, and the ability to recognise the right piece without talking yourself into the wrong one.
Read Class OneThe Side of Luxury Resale You Don't See
More sellers and more platforms mean more choice, but also more responsibility. This class looks at what sits behind a listing and why knowing who you buy from matters as much as knowing the bag.
Read Class TwoWhat Losing My Instagram Account Taught Me
In October 2024, the Instagram account I had spent years building disappeared. The final class is about what happened next, what rebuilding taught me about ownership, resilience, and why community matters more than a follower count.

My community did not.
School's out.
The fun isn't.
