Louis Vuitton Kimono Wallet Monogram & Black Leather | 2016

One of Louis Vuitton's most distinctive discontinued wallets.

The Kimono Wallet combines classic Monogram coated canvas with contrasting black calfskin leather, joined by the oversized gold-tone V detail at the centre. The design takes its name from the overlapping construction of a traditional kimono.

Inside, it is incredibly functional with 12 card slots, two large flat compartments and a full-length zip pocket.

The generous continental size also makes this a fantastic travel wallet. At approximately 8.5 inches long, it can accommodate a Canadian passport and even a phone without a case (fits my iphone 17 pro) making it an easy piece for keeping travel essentials together.

Originally from Louis Vuitton's 2016 collection, the Kimono Wallet has since been discontinued.

CONDITION

Great pre-owned condition.

The Monogram coated canvas and black leather exterior present beautifully and have maintained their structure.

The black leather interior is clean and functional with some visible wrinkling and creasing from previous use. This is cosmetic and does not affect the function of the wallet.

The gold-tone V hardware and other metal components show surface scratches and rubbing consistent with normal use.

The zip pocket opens and closes smoothly. Snap closures remain functional.

WHY I LOVE IT

This is so much more useful than a traditional wallet.

It has room for 12 cards, cash, receipts and coins, but its larger format is what makes it especially good for travel. A passport fits comfortably inside, and depending on the model, you can even tuck in a phone without a case.

I also love the Monogram and black combination. You get classic Louis Vuitton on one side and understated black leather on the other, finished with that gorgeous oversized V.

It is a discontinued design from 2016 that still feels incredibly current.
